Ankle to knee twist, also known as double pigeon twist, or fire log twist or last but not least parivrtta agnistambhasana. This pose is a serious hip, spine and chest opener. Fantastic for stress release and lower back pain. If your knees don’t touch your ankles, just keep breathing and practicing the pose. It may take time but eventually you will get there. We’ll be getting into this pose and more this afternoon in my 5pm Vinyasa class at Sangha Yoga Shala. Hope to see you there!
